I started Sea Kayaking in 2010 when I enrolled in an Intro To Paddling Course with Paddle East on Lake Banook. In 2011 I took my Paddle Canada Level 1 course with Committed to the Core Sea Kayaking. The following year, with Coastal Adventures Sea Kayaking, I attained my Paddle Canada Level 2.

Group paddle at Black Rocks Nova Scotia
Over the years I did many group paddles, many of which were organized by Committed To The Core Sea Kayaking.

Surfing at Clam Harbour Beach
I quickly discovered a passion for rough water sea kayaking and spent many hours playing in the surf at Clam Harbour Beach. I enjoyed many days paddling the Shubie Tidal Bore and also spent a weekend at Brier Island Nova Scotia learning the intricacies of paddling in a tidal race environment.

Day touring from Coastal Adventures Sea Kayaking in Tangier, Nova Scotia
I very much enjoyed the tranquil peace of solo day touring by kayak.
