I started Scuba Diving in 1990 in Tobermory, Ontario, Canada. Having family in the business made it very easy for me to pursue my new found passion. During my first two seasons I did approximately 400 dives. At the end of my second season I achieved my NAUI Open Water Instructor certification. I left the Scuba industry in 1999 after having completed approximately 1200 dives.

From 1992 until 1998 I worked full time (seasonal) in the Scuba Industry. My main role was as an instructor however I also spent a significant amount of time operating dive charter vessels and performing various retail roles.
