Cycling has been I major part of my life. I was a dedicated cycling commuter all through my high school and university days doing up to 26 miles a day to get to my summer employment (which was always as a sailing instructor in the Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville areas of Ontario).
I was a passionate, year round, cycling commuter for the twenty two years I worked for Halifax Transit. I was hardcore. Studded tires, ski googles, balaclava, what ever it took to get to work.
For the last three years I have focused the majority of my cycling time on technical single track Mountain Biking. Most of this riding is done in Gore Nova Scotia or Topsail Lake Trails in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
I often do weekend fitness/touring rides along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia.
Cycled the Cabot Trail in 2017, fantastic experience. Even the climbs.
