In September 2025 I started the Nova Scotia Community College Carpentry Certificate Program ( 1 year). Fundamentals of basic carpentry are taught which includes the use of hands tools such as (but not limited to) saws, chisels, hammers , framing squares, speed, squares, levels. Hand power tools such as drills, impact drivers, circular saw, routers, sanders, reciprocating saws, grinders, nail guns and jig saws. Stationary power tools such as table saws, mitre saws, planers, joiners, drill press and band saws.
